about

Hi! I’m Allanah.

I’m so glad you’re here!

I’m a twenty-something wife, college student, and dog-mom from northwestern Ohio. ย Jesus is the first love of my life, and my husband Cody is the second. ๐Ÿ™‚ I love life and pretty much everything about it! Baking, crafts, DIY projects, ice cream (with sprinkles!), naps, and dogs are just a few of my favorite things.

I decided to start blogging because I wanted to share my love of all things beautiful with my friends and family (and some strangers too!) Most of my posts are aboutย cooking, baking, DIY, and miscellaneous topics – think gardening, pets, parties, etc. I believe that life is worth celebrating (what’s more fun that that?) and that sometimes means that things can get a little random. Stick with me. ๐Ÿ™‚

If you ask Cody, he will tell you that I am fun-loving,ย adventurous, nurturing, and kind-hearted (Yep, he really said that, and yes, I “aww’d”). That’s the way God made me, and I’m totally owning it! My heart is guided every day by Jesus and I liveย for Him – that’s why I care so much aboutย you! I love creating beautiful things that make people happy, and simplifying the process so that others can do the same. I’ve been given a “good and perfect gift” (James 1:17) of creativity and now I’m sharing it with you!

Friends, I encourage you to look around and give me some feedback. This is my very first shot at writing in the blogosphere and you’re my best resource. Tell me what you love, something you would like to see, and/or let me know when I’m getting a little crazy (that’s what friends are for, right?) Questions, comments, suggestions, it’s all up to you!

Thanks for stopping by!
